Liverpool are set to host Manchester United at Anfield in their eighth Premier League match of the season on October 19.
After maintaining a winning streak in their five opening league matches, Liverpool were on the receiving end of defeats in their last two games.
The Reds currently stand second in the top flight with 15 points and will be looking to return to their winning ways in the upcoming Northwest derby to avoid increasing the one-point gap with table-toppers, Arsenal.
United, meanwhile, have made another underwhelming start to the ongoing campaign. The Red Devils have won only three out of their seven league games so far, which leaves them 10th with 10 points.
Liverpool and Man United have faced each other 66 times in the Premier League, with the Red Devils securing 29 victories to their rivals' 20.
The win tally, however, is tied up, with regards to their 33 league games held at Anfield, where both sides have claimed 12 apiece with nine draws.
