Liverpool hit the road for their penultimate Premier League game of the season at Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday.

With the Reds having secured the title at the end of last month, and with no cup competitions to occupy their focus, Arne Slot's team are largely winding down ahead of the final day of the league season next Sunday and their trophy parade a day later.

Things are not so simple for Brighton, though. Fabian Hurzeler's team are still in the race for Europe with two matches left to play, although they will want a victory to keep those hopes alive given the permutations at play.

The Sporting News looks at the latest team news for this fixture.

Brighton will have Joao Pedro back from suspension for their final home game of the season. Lewis Dunk, Igor Julio and Joel Veltman should also be involved, although Dunk and Igor at least will likely start on the bench.

Kaoru Mitoma is a doubt with a heel problem but could at least make the bench. Georginio Rutter, Ferdi Kadioglu and former Liverpool man James Milner are injured.

Brighton predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Verbruggen (GK) — Wieffer, Van Hecke, Webster, Estupinan — Baleba, Ayari — Lamptey, O'Riley, Minteh — Welbeck

Injured: March (knee), Milner (hamstring), Kadioglu (toe), Rutter (ankle), Mitoma (heel, doubt), Dunk (knock, doubt)
Suspended: None

Speaking last Friday, Slot said he did not know whether Trent Alexander-Arnold would be in line to play. The right-back, who is leaving the Reds when his contract expired, was booed by a number of home fans when he came off the bench at Anfield in the draw with Arsenal.

Joe Gomez will likely miss out again as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury, but Liverpool are otherwise at full strength. Slot will have to decide which players deserve a run-out as their season winds down.

Liverpool predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Alisson (GK) — Bradley, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson — Gravenberch, Mac Allister — Salah, Szoboszlai, Diaz — Nunez

Injured: Gomez (hamstring)
Suspended: None
