Barcelona vs. Olympiacos prediction, lineups, best odds and betting tips for Champions League Matchday 3 image

Barcelona will be looking to make it two wins from three Champions League games so far this season when they host Olympiacos on Tuesday night.

A Marcus Rashford-inspired victory at Newcastle in their first European outing of 2025/26 was followed by a last-gasp loss at home to defending champions PSG earlier this month.

Then came a 4-1 humbling at Sevilla in domestic action, as the La Liga title holders entered the international break on a real low. Ronald Araujo hit a late, late winner to give them the spoils over Girona at the weekend as they began to regain some momentum.

For their part, Olympiacos have yet to score in this season's competition — a disappointing goalless draw at home to Pafos and then a 2-0 loss at Arsenal. That said, Jose Luis Mendilibar's side sit second in the Greek Super League and may fancy their chances of an upset in Catalonia.

Can Barca kick on after their recent struggles or will Olympiacos add to their woes? AllSportsPeople brings you this betting preview complete with the latest tips, predictions and odds.

Barcelona vs. Olympiacos: Who Will Win?

Barca are in need of a positive result after losing their two games prior to the international break and stumbling over the line against Girona at the weekend.

Despite a lengthy injury list, Hansi Flick's side should still have more than enough to beat the Greek champions, though.

It might not be the easiest victory and we think both sides will score, but a home win feels very likely.

Barcelona vs. Olympiacos Score Prediction

Barca were full of goals last season and have continued to be this season too, hitting a league-high 24 goals in nine La Liga games so far.

They have hit just three so far in the Champions League, though, albeit in two very difficult games — including against defending champions PSG.

Expect them to double their total here to make it two wins from three in the competition this season.
