Manchester United are expected to reignite their pursuit of Antoine Semenyo after the Bournemouth winger’s explosive start to the season, according to The People Person.
Semenyo was Bournemouth’s standout attacker last year, scoring 13 goals and adding seven assists across all competitions under Andoni Iraola.
His rise has already placed him among United’s long-term targets, with head coach Ruben Amorim reported to be a strong admirer.
The Red Devils even explored a move in the summer but instead prioritized other signings.
United have placed Semenyo high on their list for summer 2026, but any deal will not come easily.
According to the Teamtalk, Bournemouth priced him out of a transfer with a £70m [$93m] valuation and confirmed there is no release clause in his contract.

That means any fresh approach would likely lead to another high-stakes standoff.
The Cherries remain determined to keep their star man and will not entertain offers in January and they intend to resist even in 2026, viewing Semenyo as vital to their project.

For Iraola’s side, the focus is on maintaining momentum in the Premier League with Bournemouth targeting European qualification for the first time in their history, and Semenyo’s form is central to that push.
