Manchester United aren't completely happy with Andre Onana being their number one goalkeeper.

The club has been monitoring multiple goalkeepers this summer, with Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez high on their list.

Ruben Amorim prefers Premier League-proven players, and a new target might be emerging for United.

Which Premier League keeper could United target?

According to talkSPORT, United could turn their focus to Newcastle's Nick Pope, especially with Aaron Ramsdale heading to Newcastle on loan.

Pope is out of contract next summer, and his starting spot is no longer guaranteed with Ramsdale around.

The 33-year-old will face competition from Ramsdale, and United could try to persuade the Englishman to be their starting goalkeeper.

Amorim has tried to bring Martinez in on a loan deal, and he could look to do the same with Pope.

Pope fits the profile of a player that Amorim wants to challenge Onana, and the Englishman has proven to be a good fit in the Premier League.

Should United try to sign Pope, he could come at a good price because he only has a year remaining on his current contract.
