Manchester Unitedare in the market for a new strike this summer, after already wrapping up a deal for Matheus Cunha and the Red Devils are also working on Brentford's Bryan Mbuemo.
These signings are set to address United's poor returns in front of goal in the last 12 months, as they only managed 44 goals in 38 Premier League matches last season.
Apart from the three relegated teams, only Everton had scored fewer goals in the Premier League than United, in a miserable 2024/25 for Ruben Amorim.
In an attempt to rectify the situation, the Red Devils have shortlisted a few strikers suited to Amorim's philosophy, with Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic on their radar.
According to reports from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Vlahovic is close to terminating his contract with Juventus, as he looks to take on a new challenge.
This move will put United on red alert as they plan a package to potentially bring the Serbia international to Manchester.

Vlahovic has been with Juventus since 2022, scoring 58 goals in 145 games for the Bianconeri, but the Turin giants are looking to offload big-earning players.
He scored 17 goals in 44 games for Juve last season, but they are keen to let him go, due to his big salary to free up their wage bill.
Vlahovic has a year left on his contract, and he was reportedly earning €12m [£10.3m], which made him one of the highest earners in Serie A.

United have been linked with Vlahovic for some time, and there could be a suggested swap deal with Jadon Sancho going the other way.
ManUnited have a long shortlist of strikers
Manchester United's shortlist of strikers this summer is more of a 'long list' with the Red Devils exploring deals for many forwards in the market.
Apart from Vlahovic, they have been linked with former Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who recently became a free agent.
Fiorentina star, Moise Kean, is another striker who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but that did not materialise into an offer.
United were keen on Viktor Gyokeres, with fans confident Amorim could lure him from his former club, but he's now close to joining Arsenal.
