Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes has finally spoken out about his future amid ongoing rumors linking him with a possible move away from Old Trafford.

The Portuguese playmaker has made it clear — he’s happy where he is, and a move to Saudi Arabia was never really on his radar.

In recent weeks, reports suggested Fernandes was approached by Saudi club Al-Hilal, with whispers of a jaw-dropping £200 million offer on the table.

But the midfielder insists his decision to stay had nothing to do with money — or even next year’s World Cup.

“I’m happy here. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have stayed,” Fernandes told reporters during international duty with Portugal. “I like to enjoy the moment.”

When asked about the Saudi speculation, he added, “That’s an impossible scenario to imagine, because it’s nothing that’s been discussed with me anymore.”

Bayern and Madrid reportedly circling

Despite his firm stance, the rumor mill hasn’t stopped spinning.

According to several reports, Bayern Munich are preparing a £40 million bid, while Real Madrid are said to be monitoring his situation closely.

United, though, remain adamant that their captain is not for sale — at least not mid-season.

Fernandes, who joined the Red Devils from Sporting Lisbon in 2020, has been one of the few constants in a club still searching for stability.

Through managerial changes, locker room drama, and tactical experiments, the Portuguese midfielder has remained the heartbeat of the team — the kind who still tracks back in the 90th minute when others are checking their hair in the big screen.

Under boss Ruben Amorim, United’s struggles have continued, with the team failing to find consistency in the Premier League.

But Fernandes has stood by his commitment, saying his focus remains on leading by example, not chasing headlines.

For now, fans can breathe a little easier — Bruno isn’t swapping Old Trafford for oil money just yet.

The midfield magician still has unfinished business in red, and as he’s proven time and again, he’s not one to pass up a challenge.
