Pep Guardiola has been a visionary for Manchester City ever since he decided to join the Premier League outfit back in 2016 and in almost a decade, he has completely transformed the club.
City are now entering a transitional period after finishing third in the Premier League last season and with Guardiola at the helm, fans are more assured than ever.
He has already guided City to six Premier League crowns, a Champions League title, four Carabao Cups and a couple of FA Cups.
Therefore, City will have a massive void to fill once the Spaniard decides to step away from his role. There are several rumours suggesting that this could be the last year for him in Manchester.
Amidst all the rumours, Man City legend David Silva has come up with a suggestion for Guardiola regarding his next destination.
Silva was a crucial player for Guardiola during the time when he was establishing his authority and transforming City into one of the best teams in Europe.

The former Spain international was one of the gifted midfielders during his time and featured 436 times for City while scoring 77 goals.
He featured for City from 2010 to 2020 before moving to Real Sociedad and eventually hanging up his boots. He won four Premier League titles during his time at City along two FA Cups and five Carabao Cups.
In a recent interview with the Mirror, Silva said of his former coach: "I’d like to see him as Spain’s manager. Luis de la Fuente is doing a phenomenal job now, but it would be good to have Pep in the future.
"He could bring a style of football based on good ball control and always going out to win games. A bit like the philosophy of the current Spanish national team."
Will Guardiola take up the Spain national team role?
It is extremely unlikely that Silva's wish will come true at least in the next few years as Luis de la Fuente has done a sensational job for La Roja as he guided them to Euros title last year.

With the World Cup coming up next year, Spain under his tutelage are looking like one of the favourites to win the competition.
Hence, there's no chance that Guardiola will get a spot to become the Spain boss in the near future.
The Spaniard has a wish of managing an international team at a World Cup but that won't necessarily happen right now at least not with Spain.
His current contract with City is until 2027 and given his options, Guardiola may look to fulfill that before looking for a new challenge. Some fans believe that City hierarchy will be able to convince him to sign a renewal.
For now, he is focused on helping City reclaim the Premier League title from Liverpool whilst scaling greater heights in Champions League.
