Mohamed Salah has written his name deeper into Premier League history after winning the PFA Player of the Year award for the third time.
The Liverpool forward was voted by his fellow professionals after another incredible season that ended with the Reds lifting the league title.
The Egyptian scored 29 goals and set up 18 more, proving once again that when it comes to consistency, he really is in a league of his own.
Salah had already joined the elite club of players who won the award twice, but this third triumph puts him out on his own. Apparently, there is no stopping the "Egyptian King," who keeps turning defenses into statues.
His victory came on the same night Arsenal’s Mariona Caldentey won the women’s award after a standout first season in England.
But for Salah, this was a moment of pure history.

What Mohamed Salah said after winning his 3rd PFA award
Reflecting on the achievement, Salah said:
“I look at myself now, a guy coming from Egypt and making it to the top level, making history today, it’s something that makes me so proud.”
At 33, Salah admitted it has not been easy to keep delivering at the highest level. He also spoke about the responsibility of guiding younger players at Anfield, adding: “Virgil [van Dijk], me and all the guys in the team try to give them the experience to help them.”
This latest award also came just days after Salah equaled Andy Cole’s Premier League goal tally of 187, moving him into joint fourth on the all-time scoring list. Clearly, he isn’t slowing down.
For Liverpool fans, the message is simple: keep calm and let Mo score. With the Reds chasing more silverware this season, Salah’s hunger for goals and glory shows no sign of fading.
