Right now feels like a good time to be associated with Chelsea, whether it is as a fan or as a player.
The Blues have made an impressive start to the new Premier League season, picking up seven out of a possible nine points.
More importantly, manager Enzo Maresca has got everyone pulling in the same direction.
The squad looks stronger than it did last season, and it looks set for a title challenge, but a lot will depend on how they come through the upcoming busy schedule, especially without the likes of Liam Delap, Levi Colwill and Dario Essugo, who are out injured at the moment.
Meanwhile, Micah Richards has been particularly impressed with one Chelsea star over the course of the recently concluded international break and made it a point to shower him with praise.
The former Manchester City defender believes that Chelsea skipper Reece James is getting back to his best.

Micah Richards heaps praise on Chelsea skipper Reece James
According to Richards, James is showing signs to suggest he’s getting back to his very best form.
He was full of praise for the 25-year-old star after he started back-to-back World Cup qualifiers for England during the international break, beating Andorra and Serbia.

Speaking on The Rest Is Football, Richards said, “Reece James over the two games was outstanding. Imagine having a fully fit Reece James and a fully fit Trent [Alexander-Arnold] for the World Cup. We can cause you all sorts of damage.
“I felt a little bit sorry for Reece James because every time he gets himself fit, he gets a little niggle, but then it takes him a while to get back up to his best form. But he’s there.
“He’s slowly getting back to what he was when he was on fire. People talk about Trent’s delivery, which is magnificent, but Reece James’ delivery is very good. And he can defend.”
Though James has always been a quality player, injuries have been the main concern in his career so far. However, the Chelsea captain has found some form and fitness in 2025, though.
Having put in two consecutive impressive performances on international duty for England, Chelsea fans will be hoping that he can continue his good form at club level too.
