After making an impressive start to life as a Chelsea player, Estevao Willian has been talking about his exploits while on international duty with Brazil.
The 18-year-old has been one of Chelsea’s best players at the start of the season in the Premier League.
The teenager has played in all three games so far, starting two of them, and looks mature beyond his years.
In the process, the youngster has impressed some of his teammates and become a bit of a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge.
He carried his good form to the national team as well, scoring for Brazil in the World Cup qualifier against Chile during the international break.
Now, Estevao Willian has revealed the one thing that he avoids doing while playing in the Premier League.

Estevao Willian opens up on his secret approach to surviving the Premier League
One of the biggest doubts that everyone had about Estevao Willian is how he would cope with the physicality of the Premier League.
However, the player has given a good account of himself on that front so far and revealed one of the secrets to his survival.

The Chelsea attacker has explained that he tries to avoid contact with opponents. While he’s keen to add a bit more muscle, it’s not seen as imperative.
When asked by Globo if he’s felt the need to get stronger after his first few games at Chelsea, Estevao said: “No, because I know how to avoid contact a lot, I try to avoid it a lot, right? Because the player ends up going at high speed, and the players there are much stronger, they’re faster too…
“Of course, it’s important to gain muscle strength, to gain mass, but I see it as… it’s important, but not fundamental. But I want to further improve my speed, my playing style, because thank God I’m getting the opportunity, I’m able to play well the way I am, light, calm, but knowing that I have a lot to improve too.”
Whatever Estevao Willian has been doing so far has clearly been working for him, and will hold him in good stead if he just continues what he has been doing so far.
