Players going on strike has been a common Premier League transfer theme so far this summer.
Alexander Isak and Yoane Wissa have both made their feelings clear about leavingNewcastle United and Brentford, respectively. But both of their clubs are currently stopping them from leaving immediately.
In contrast, ever since Todd Boehly took charge at Chelsea in 2022, the club has been known not to stand in the way of players wanting to leave.
The Blues were happy to let Renato Veiga leave on loan to Juventus in January, after he requested minutes in the centre-back position, and he now looks set to leave permanently in the coming weeks.
However, Enzo Maresca might just have a new problem on his hands, with a player who is just back from a long-term injury.
Wesley Fofana is yet to make his long-awaited return from surgery, but the Frenchman has caught the club’s attention, with some odd social media activity.

Wesley Fofana deletes Chelsea link from social media
In the absence of Levi Colwill, there is plenty of expectation over Fofana's comeback, and his return was something fans were looking forward to.
Despite being tipped for a return against Crystal Palace in last weekend's season opener, he remained on the substitutes bench.

Despite no rumours of discontent on either side of the relationship at Stamford Bridge, it seems the Fofana is not pleased with his current situation.
The defender has deleted all mentions of Chelsea from his Instagram page, adding fuel to the fire that he could push to leave.
If that is the case, Chelsea will need to act quickly in the summer market, ahead of the September 1 deadline.
Fofana is currently on a massive contract worth £200k-a-week [£270,000], far more than the likes of Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez, and that could complicate a sale.
Maresca has also been vocal in his demand for a new centre-back, after Colwill's injury, but if he fails to do so, retaining Fofana will be key.
