One Chelsea player who is currently an outcast at the club has hinted that he could still move away from Stamford Bridge, despite the English transfer window being closed.

The Blues enjoyed a busy transfer window wherein they managed to offload several players who were surplus to requirements at the club.

However, there are a few players who do not have a future at the club, but are yet to find homes elsewhere.

One such player is Axel Disasi, who saw his potential dream move to Monaco being blocked by Nicolas Jackson’s unceremonious exit to Bayern Munich.

Jackson’s deadline day loan to Bayern Munich took up their last possible abroad loan spot, meaning the Frenchman was unable to return to his former side.

Disasi has now shared that he was desperate to move to Monaco; however, he expects to find out in the next week what the future holds for him.

He said, “In the period between the approaches from Bournemouth and West Ham, Monaco arrived, and that hit me emotionally. I had three incredible years at Monaco. When they came in, all the memories came back. Monaco is home.

“I hoped that Chelsea would find a solution to allow me to leave on loan. I pushed until the last minute to go to Monaco.”

Though the transfer window in England is closed, there is still a possibility of a move to Turkey or Saudi Arabia, with the defender said to prefer a move to the former.

The transfer window closes on Friday in Turkey; however, it remains open until September 23 in Saudi Arabia.
