Now, another cricketer’s family has come forward with a gesture of support. Devisha Shetty, wife of India’s T20 star Suryakumar Yadav, has publicly backed Dhanashree, making a strong statement on social media.

How did Devisha Shetty support Dhanashree Verma?

Shetty recently shared a screenshot from Dhanashree’s Humans of Bombay interview on her Instagram story.

Alongside the picture, she wrote, “So much respect and love for you.” This drew attention as fans praised her for standing by Dhanashree at a time when the dancer is facing heavy criticism and speculation.

The post soon caught traction on social media platforms. Many users said how women often face more judgment than men during public divorces.  Comments also noted how women like Natasha Stankovic and Dhanashree have often been unfairly targeted online.
