Vaibhav Suryavanshi's purple patch continues at the youth level as he became the youngest player to score a half-century in a U-19 World Cup match on Saturday, January 17, against Bangladesh.
The southpaw played a brilliant knock under pressure after India chose to bat first and delivered for his team, while the rest of the batting lineup crumbled.

Captain Ayush Mhatre was dismissed for just 6 runs and the rest of the top order also collapsed as India lost their first three wickets for just 53 runs.
However, Suryavanshi, who scored 72 off 67 balls and Abhigyan Abhishek Kundu, 80 off 112 balls, made sure India went past the 200-run mark. The India colts ended up posting 238 runs in 48.4 overs.
