Known for his swashbuckling batting style, the southpaw has managed to land among the biggest rising stars around the world. With years left in their careers, these stars are ready to dominate their respective fields.
Yashasvi Jaiswal is named in TIME's influential rising stars
Launched in 2019, the TIME100 NEXT — The World’s Most Influential Rising Stars lists down the famous celebrities around the world and across the fields, aged under 30, who the jury feels have reached the top of their fields and can still grow in the coming years.
Their latest list, released on October 1, includes Jaiswal — the only Indian who was included alongside four other sports personalities.
This recognizes his achievements in a short career. He scored centuries at home and in the West Indies, Australia, and England. He also famously had a 712-run series against England in 2024, where he scored two double hundreds, while also scoring heavily in a tough away series against Australia.
Moments after the release of the list, he also took it to his Twitter (X) and expressed his gratitude to be named in the widely recognized list.
What a Time to witness! I am honoured to be recognised in the 2025 #TIME100NEXT list alongside leaders shaping the future across industries. It reminds me how far I’ve come and how much further I want to go 🙏🏻
