Jasprit Bumrah returned to T20I cricket action at the 2025 Asia Cup -- for the first time since India's victory at the 2024 T20 World Cup final.

In the first two matches after his return, Bumrah took 1/19 against UAE followed by a 2/28 effort against arch-rivals Pakistan to seal a spot in the Super Four stage of the competition.

However, in a rare occurrence, the Indian ace speedster went wicketless, conceding nine runs per over against Pakistan in the Super 4 clash on Sunday night in Dubai. It was an off day for one of the best bowlers in the world but his team managed to finish on the winning side, beating the Men in Green by 6 wickets.

Bumrah's most expensive bowling spell came against Australia in Hyderabad during Australia's tour of India in 2022.

His wicketless spell against Pakistan in the Super Four clash became his joint-third most expensive spell in the format.
