India join Australia, England, and South Africa in the semi-finals

India sealed their semi-final spot with a commanding win over New Zealand at the Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Harmanpreet Kaur's side, who began the tournament with back-to-back wins against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, bounced back strongly after a tough mid-phase that included losses to South Africa, Australia, and England.

The crucial win over the White Ferns took India to six points and ensured qualification even if they lose their final group game against Bangladesh — thanks to the higher number of wins.

Australia lead the table as the only unbeaten team

Defending champions Australia were the first to secure a semi-final spot, continuing their dominant run with a win over Bangladesh. The Meg Lanning-led side remains unbeaten so far, topping the table with 11 points from six matches.

Their consistency and depth have once again underlined why they remain the team to beat in global women's cricket.

England and South Africa complete the top four

South Africa became the second team to qualify, with 10 points and a match still in hand. England confirmed their place after edging past India in a tense finish earlier in the tournament.

With all four semi-finalists now confirmed, attention turns to the final-four battles — the first semi-final on 29 October in Guwahati, followed by the second on 30 October in Navi Mumbai.
