The ICC Women's ODI World Cup is all set to begin on Tuesday, September 30, as the host India faces Sri Lanka in the tournament opener in Guwahati.

The eight-team tournament will be played in a round-robin format, with 28 league phase matches scheduled before the two semi-finals and final on Sunday, November 2.

Australia will head into the competition as the defending champions, looking for their eighth title, while the hosts continue their pursuit to win their maiden World Cup at home.

Which are the venues for the Women's ODI World Cup 2025?

The tournament will be played across five different venues — four in India, while Pakistan's matches will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium has been replaced by the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai, as one of the venues after the recent stampede in Bengaluru.

Which is the biggest venue for the Women's ODI World Cup 2025?

Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium is the biggest of the five venues for the competition, with a capacity of 60,000 seats. The venue will host three matches in the league phase, followed by the second semi-final.

Where is the final of the Women's ODI World Cup 2025?

The venue for the final of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 has not been announced yet. R Premadasa Stadium will host the match, should Pakistan reach the final of the tournament.

Any two teams except Pakistan reaching the final of the tournament will mean that the match will be played in one of the other four venues in India.
