The overall prize money of the global event has seen a monumental rise of 297 percent. The prize pool for this edition of the Women's World Cup is $13.88 million US dollars as compared to just $3.5 million for the last edition, which concluded in 2022.
The eight-team competition has even surpassed the ICC Men's World Cup in terms of prize pool. The 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, hosted in India, had a cumulative prize pool of $10 million.

The winner of this edition of the Women's World Cup will receive a prize money of $4.48 million, while the runners-up will receive $2.24 million.

Our message is simple: women cricketers must know they will be treated on par with men if they choose this sport professionally," said ICC Chairman Jay Shah.
