Pakistan qualified for the World Championship of Legends by a walkover, as the India Legends decided not to face their arch-rivals in the semi-final of the competition, which was scheduled to take place on July 30.
Earlier in the tournament, the team decided to pull out of a league clash due to the cross-border tension between the two neighbouring countries that has existed since April 2025.
The India legends side, led by Yuvraj Singh, has once again decided to pull out of the knockout clash, as they remained firm in their decision of not facing Pakistan.

Why did India pull out of WCL 2025 semi-final against Pakistan?
An insider from India Legends camp told Hindustan Times the reason why the decision was taken despite the fear of elimination from the tournament.
The team insider said: "We are not playing against Pakistan (in semis). Our country and nation will always be at the top for us, and then anything. India ke liye kuch bhi. We are proud members of the Indian team. We have struggled and worked hard to put the Indian flag on our shirts, and we earned it. We will never let our country down, no matter what. Bharat Mata ki jai."
The source added: "Even if we had entered the final and faced Pakistan, we all would have done the same. We all Indians are on the same page."
