They crushed Dindigul Dragons by 118 runs in Sunday's final. It was a night to remember at Coimbatore as the Tiruppur lifted their maiden Tamil Nadu Premier League title with a near-perfect performance all around.

While Dindigul came into the final led by a seasoned campaigner in R Ashwin and armed with big-match experience, Tiruppur's younger guns stole the spotlight.

Who won the TNPL 2025 final?

IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans won the TNPL 2025 final by beating Dindigul Dragons by 118 runs to clinch their first-ever TNPL title. Led by Sai Kishore, Tiruppur dominated the game from start to finish - thanks to a powerful batting display and disciplined bowling.

Tushar Raheja leads from the front with another special knock

Opening batter Tushar Raheja struck 77 off just 46 balls to give Tiruppur a flying start after they were put in to bat. He hit six fours and four sixes.

Across the tournament, he scored 488 runs at a strike rate of 186. Amit Sathvik smashed 65 off 34 to record his fourth fifty in five innings.

Together, they got Tiruppur to 160 by the 16th over before finishing with a total of 220 for 5. Chasing 221, Dindigul's innings fell apart in a hurry. Four wickets were gone inside the powerplay and the game was effectively over by the halfway mark.

Silambarasan (2-12), Prasath (2-18), Esakkimuthu (2-27) and Natarajan (1-19) shared the spoils as the Dindigul were all out for just 102 in 14.4 overs. It was an especially proud night for 23-year-old Esakkimuthu - who finished the tournament as the second-highest wicket-taker in his debut season.
