In the last decade and a half, the popularity of T20 cricket has soared through the roof.
Often termed as the most popular format of cricket, leaving behind longer formats in ODI and Tests, newer and newer T20 leagues are being established across the globe like fries at a McDonald's outlet.
Players often opt to participate in various T20 leagues around the world, which gets them the label of 'T20 specialists' - players who are roped in by major franchises across different leagues, who often come with a special status because of their reputation in the shortest format.
