Waseem breached the landmark in the UAE's tri-series T20I game against Afghanistan, where he smashed six big maximums, surpassing the former Kiwi batter.

With 176 sixes in international T20s, the UAE's skipper is just behind the Indian legend and T20 World Cup-winning skipper Rohit Sharma, who leads the chart with more than 200 sixes.
