Who among the Fab 4 has scored the most centuries?

The Fab 4 of cricket have had the world at their feet with their performances in the last decade. We are talking about some of the best batsmen to ever play the game - Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Steven Smith, and Kane Williamson.

The quartet is widely regarded as the best batsmen of the current era. They are all classy top-order batsmen and have captained their countries at some point in their careers. They were labelled as 'The Fab 4' by the late Martin Crowe back in 2014 before their careers took off and panned out how they did.

How many centuries have the Fab 4 Scored in International Cricket?

Virat Kohli has the most centuries among all four batters (82 centuries). However, the former India skipper also has the most appearances in international cricket, with 550 matches to his name. 

Joe Root is second to Kohli for the highest centuries among the Fab 4. The Test specialist has 56 centuries to his name, with the highest score of 262 in a Test match against Pakistan in Multan in 2024.

New Zealand's Kane Williamson has scored 48 centuries in international cricket, with over 370 games under his belt. 

Australian batter Steve Smith has scored 48 tons, having played the least matches of them all - 356. His maiden century came at the biggest stage - the Ashes series of 2013, at the iconic Oval. He also reached the milestone of 10,000 Test runs on January 29, 2025 against Sri Lanka, in Galle.
