Which cities will host T20 World Cup 2026? List of eight stadiums chosen by ICC for the world event image

The defending ICC T20 World Cup winners, India, are set to host the next edition of the competition alongside Sri Lanka in February-March 2026, with 20 teams participating in the event.

As revealed during the ICC event on Tuesday, the 20 participating teams have been divided into four groups of five teams each, in contrast to the 2024 edition, when five groups consisted of four teams each.

In the same event, as the officials announced the groups and the schedule for the tournament, they also unveiled all the locations where the tournament would be held.

Below is a full list of venues for the highly anticipated mega T20 event.

Which venues will host the T20 World Cup 2026?

India and Sri Lanka are co-hosting the tournament, and the 55 matches of the competition are spread across eight traditionally iconic venues from the two countries (five from India and three from Sri Lanka).

The following is the list of venues:

  1. The Narendra Modi Stadium - Ahmedabad
  2. MA Chidambaram Stadium - Chennai
  3. Arun Jaitley Stadium - New Delhi
  4. Wankhede Stadium - Mumbai
  5. Eden Gardens - Kolkata
  6. R. Premadasa Stadium - Colombo
  7. Sinhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground - Colombo
  8. Pallekele International Cricket Stadium - Kandy

As of now, the venue for the final is to be announced, but one of the two semi-finals will be held at the Wankhede Stadium.
