South Africa’s last and only series win in India came way back in the 1999/00 season. It was a two-match series and the Proteas dominated both games and completed a clean sweep.
In the first Test at Wankhede Stadium, they chased down a tricky target of 163 and sealed a four-wicket win.
The second Test in Bengaluru was one-sided, with South Africa posting a massive 479 and beating India by an innings and 71 runs.
