After India's embarrassing defeat in the first Test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the caravan of the India vs South Africa Test series now moves on to the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. 

The second Test between the two nations will commence on Saturday, November 22, and will run through Wednesday, November 26. 

Test world champions, South Africa, would be really high on confidence after their prolific 31-run victory in a low-scoring thriller at the Eden Gardens.

The second Test between India and South Africa will commence on Saturday, November 22, and will run through Wednesday, November 26. The match will start at 9:00 AM IST, with the toss taking place at 8:30 AM IST.

India vs South Africa lineups, team news

India's captain, Shubman Gill, is expected to miss the second Test after an injury to his neck, which forced him out on the second day of the first Test in Kolkata. A final call on his availability will be taken on the eve of the game. 

Rishabh Pant will lead the Indian side in Gill's absence, while Sai Sudharsan will most likely take up the No.3 role. India's bowling group is expected to remain unchanged.
