Bangladesh, meanwhile, toppled Group B leaders Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage opener. If they beat India, the Tigers can almost guarantee a spot in the final. However, it will be tough as the Men in Blue have dominated head-to-head series 16-1 since 2009.

India vs. Bangladesh Asia Cup match predicted XIs, team news
No changes are expected for Gautam Gambhir's men. The openers and Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill have built a solid partnership at the top of the order, including dominant 100+ run stand against Pakistan recently.
Pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy went wicketless in the last match, but India will rely on the duo to pick up wickets against a vulnerable Bangladesh batting line-up.
India predicted XI: Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson (wk), Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah.
Skipper Litton Das was reported to have complained of back pain during training but as the team's main batter, he is expect to feature in the XI once again.
Opener Saif Hassan and middle order batter Towhid Hridoy led the team in the chase against the Lankans but the real test will come against India's spinners.
Meanwhile, Tanzim Hasan Sakib is being considered as a replacement to take over the new ball role after Shoriful Islam was expensive, conceding 49 runs in the last match. Mustafizur Rahman's slow cutters and variations will be key in Dubai, supported by the spinners Nasum Ahmed and Mehdi Hasan.
Bangladesh predicted XI: Saif Hassan, Tanzid Hasan, Litton Das (c & wk), Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain, Jaker Ali, Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman
