Washington Sundar believes India will 100% win Lord's Test
After a match-shaping bowling performance, Sundar fully believed in India's chances of winning the Lord's Test on Day 5. Speaking to Sky Sports, his answer was clear: “Definitely India winning tomorrow.”
Pressed to give a more specific time, Sundar smiled and replied, “Probably just after lunch.”

He acknowledged that India might have preferred fewer wickets down by stumps, saying, “The position that we are in right now… probably for 1 (wicket loss) at the stumps would have been ideal, but yes, the way we bowled, all the fast bowlers in particular, the way they came out today and kept the pressure going throughout the day was amazing."

Sundar's crucial 4/22 on Day 4 crushes England
Sundar produced a magical spell on Day 4 that turned the momentum towards India. He finished with 4 wickets for 22 runs from 12.1 overs, which included dismissing several key English batters.
He first struck after lunch by getting Joe Root bowled for 40. Jamie Smith was also clean bowled soon after for 8. In the final session, Sundar knocked over Ben Stokes for 33.
He wrapped up the innings by castling Shoaib Bashir for just 2 runs. Notably, all four wickets taken by Sundar were bowled.
What to expect on Day 5 of IND vs ENG 3rd Test?
With both teams scoring 387 in their first innings, England’s second-innings score of 192 has set India a target of 193 runs. By stumps on Day 4, the visitors had reached 58/4, with pressure mounting on the remaining batters.
