This format gives fans a different way to watch cricket. It has the long game feel of Test matches but is also fast like T20.

Here is a detailed look at what Test Twenty is and how it works.

What is Test Twenty and how does it work?

Test Twenty is a mix of Test cricket and T20. Each match is played over 80 overs with two innings of 20 overs per side.

This means matches can be completed in a single day and the essence of Test Cricket would still be alive.

Test Twenty uses an AI Discovery Engine that combines video analysis, motion sensors and data science.

This technology evaluates players objectively and will help cricket boards and academies identify talent fairly.

AB de Villiers praised the format for respecting cricket’s traditions and it will still offer something new for fans and young players.

Sir Clive Lloyd said that it brings back the art and rhythm of cricket. Matthew Hayden said it is a bridge between the old and new generations, allowing young players to grow both as athletes and individuals.
