However, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has reacted by wondering if SKY would have done the same if the match had been played against Pakistan.
What happened and what did Aakash Chopra say?
The incident occurred during an over from Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube. Dube's towel fell during his run-up, distracting the UAE batter Junaid Siddique, who backed away.
Sanju Samson then threw the ball to the stumps, and Siddique was found short of his crease as OUT flashed on the big screen. The Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav, however, decided to withdraw the appeal, allowing the batter to continue.
"It's event-specific in my opinion, it wouldn't have happened if Pakistan's Salman Agha was playing on the 14th of September, and the game is in the balance, and he's just roaming around, he (Suryakumar) won't do that. It was a good throw, presence of mind from Sanju to hit the stumps," Chopra said on ESPNcricinfo.
