Indian captain Shubman Gill is leading the team with example as he is still going strong, fighting for a draw on Day 5 of the fourth Test of the ongoing series at Old Trafford, Manchester.
After England posted a mammoth total of 669 runs and took a 311-run lead, India were reduced to 0/2 in their second innings.
In came the skipper under extreme pressure as India were staring at yet another loss and losing the series in the process. Along with KL Rahul, Gill put up a magnificent 188-run partnership as India did not lose any wickets on Day 4.

On the final day, as Gill nears another Test century, he went past the 700-run mark in the series. He is only the third Indian batter to achieve this feat after Sunil Gavaskar and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
It has to be noted that Gavaskar achieved this twice, first in the 1970/71 series and then in the 1978/79 series against West Indies.
