The fourth Test between India and England at Old Trafford had plenty of talking points on Day 1. But in the middle of all the action, it was a cheeky remark from Ravi Shastri during commentary that stole the show online.
With England leading the five-match series 2-1, the pressure is squarely on India to level the series and push the contest to a decider at The Oval. But Day 1 didn't quite go India's way with the bat.

While the match was heating up, the cameras cut to Indian cricket great Farokh Engineer in the stands. It prompted a humorous moment that quickly went viral.

Speaking over the visuals, Ravi Shastri said,
"A real pin-up boy in the 60s and 70s. Hugely popular and he's not changed over the years. A great storyteller and a voracious eater even now. At lunch, his plate will be full."

The light-hearted jab drew a hearty laugh from the 87-year-old who clearly took the comment in good spirits. Fellow commentator Nasser Hussain joined in, adding: "He'll be just behind you in that all-day buffet queue, Ravi."
The banter came on a special day for Engineer who was honoured by Lancashire County Cricket Club alongside West Indies great Clive Lloyd. A stand at Old Trafford was named after the former India wicket-keeper who played for Lancashire from 1968 to 1976.

In that time, he scored nearly 6,000 runs and helped the club win the Gillette Cup four times.
