After his disappointing innings at Perth, Rohit Sharma bounced back in style as he scored his 59th ODI half-century at the Adelaide Oval.
Rohit returned for India after nearly eight months and was dismissed cheaply for eight runs by the star Aussie pacer Josh Hazlewood in his first outing of the series.

In the second ODI, the Indian opener looked at his vintage best after some early struggle before getting dismissed by Mitchell Starc on 73 off 97 balls.
The star batter's focus will now be on delivering a strong performance in the upcoming game and giving India a good start as they face the World Champions in in the final game of the series.

Australia had won the toss and decided to bat first in the 3rd ODI. They were bundled out for 236 runs, thanks to Harshit Rana's 4-wicket haul.
Rohit opened the innings alongside skipper Shubman Gill.
He went on to post a century, scoring 121 runs off 125 balls, guided India to a win by nine wickets, in the third and final ODI. His innings also included 13 fours and three sixes.
Amid increasing scrutiny over the future of senior players, there has been speculation about whether this could be his final international outing. However, Rohit has recently stated his intention to continue playing ODIs until the 2027 World Cup and this hundred could not have come at a better time.
