Both the Mumbai boys and the Indian cricket legends Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar were spotted in the stands on a historic night at the DY Patil Stadium, which became the fifth venue where an Indian side has lifted a world title.

Rohit has recently returned from Australia, where he won the 'Player of the series award' in the 3-match ODI series against Australia, while Tendulkar has been a constant support for the Women's side. Both legends were seen applauding every key moment of the game.

India defeated South Africa by 52 runs on the back of an amazing all-round display from the young hometown girl Shafali Verma. Shafali scored 87 runs and also bagged 2 key wickets as she was awarded the 'Player of the Match'
