England's veteran all-rounder Chris Woakes called time on his International career, bringing the curtain down on a superb career that spanned over a decade.
The decision came after the all-rounder was dropped from the England Test squad that would travel to Australia for the Ashes in November.
As Woakes called it a day, India's wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant came up with a witty yet heartfelt tribute for the Englishman.

Rishabh Pant pays hilarious yet heartfelt tribute to Chris Woakes on retirement
During the India vs England Test series in the summer, Pant got his foot injured by a ball from Woakes, which ruled him out of action for the fifth and final Test of the series and the keeper-batter is still recovering from the knock.
Reminding Woakes of his injury, Pant wrote on social media: "Happy retirement Woakesy, you have been amazing on the field. Lots of discipline, a big smile and always good vibes. Now you can definitely give that bowling arm a rest and my foot too. You definitely left a mark on me before retirement," said Pant.

Woakes also scored more than 2000 Test runs and 1000+ ODI runs at a healthy average of 24. He recently suffered a dislocated shoulder in England's last Test against India and has been out of the game since.
England's Test side is in a rebuilding phase. Post Anderson and Broad's retirement, Woakes' calling time on his career has brought an end to an era for the English side and especially their pace attack.
