For days, the silence from their camp has raised questions, but finally, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has spoken.

Mohsin Naqvi shared his views on Pakistan not holding press conferences ahead of IND vs PAK

When Mohsin Naqvi was asked why Pakistan is not holding press conferences, he gave a very short reply. He simply said, “We will talk soon.”

A day before the big India vs Pakistan match in Dubai, Pakistan was supposed to hold a press conference with a player or staff member.

It was scheduled for Saturday evening, but it never happened. This is not the first time as they had also cancelled their media session before the must-win match against UAE.

While the official reason is still unclear, reports suggest the decision might be linked to the ongoing tensions surrounding the handshake saga and the issues with match referee Andy Pycroft.

The controversy began earlier when Pycroft reportedly told Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha that there would be no handshake with India’s Suryakumar Yadav at the toss.

Pakistan saw this as a breach of the ICC code of conduct and demanded his removal. Later, a meeting was arranged between Pycroft and the Pakistan camp where he expressed regret.

But the drama only grew further when PCB released a short video of that meeting. The ICC was unhappy, claiming Pakistan had violated rules by filming inside the PMOA without permission.
