The Asia Cup 2025 will begin on September 9, with the 2024 T20 World Cup semi-finalists Afghanistan taking on Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi.

Suryakumar Yadav-led India will be the hot favorite heading into the competition, having won the 2023 edition of the tournament and the T20 World Cup in 2024.

This will allow all participating teams to test themselves against the Asian giants in preparation for the upcoming 2026 T20 World Cup.
