Team India clinched their 9th Asian title, as the Men in Blue defeated Pakistan for a third consecutive time in the Asia Cup 2025. The final ended in a nail-biting thriller where India emerged victorious by 5 wickets and 2 balls to spare.

With the win, India also registered their eighth straight win over the arch-rivals across formats, further widening the gap between the two sides.

After Pakistan's heartbreaking defeat, a video has now surfaced on the internet that involves a Pakistani anchor who broke down in tears following the defeat.

Pakistani anchor breaks down after loss to India in the Asia Cup Finals

Pakistan's poor record against India in multi-national events continues to grow as the side yet again fails to beat the Men In Blue in an all-important clash. In a total of 29 matches across global events, Pakistan has just won 5 games against India, which displays India's severe dominance.

In a viral video from a Pakistani Sports show, an anchor was seen breaking into tears while analyzing the team's defeat in the thrilling encounter.

"I don't have words...every time we think we won't do this again, every time we decide not to watch this again...cricket runs in our blood, we pray for these players more than our children," said the anchor while he broke into tears.

Pakistan last defeated India in a Super 4s encounter of the same tournament, back in 2022. The side faced some humiliating defeats after that victory and will now have to wait for some more time to break India's winning streak.

India, on the other hand, continues to dominate, stamping its authority in World Cricket. The side has now won three global events in a row, and that too undefeated.

They first won the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2024 and then went on to win the ICC Champions Trophy early this year. The side has now followed their global titles with a continental cup, adding a new chapter to their glory.
