Who is Nadine de Klerk?
De Klerk was born in Pretoria in 1999 and hadn't always planned to be a cricketer. As a child, she excelled in hockey and javelin before choosing cricket after earning her first national call-up at just 17.
Since debuting against India in 2017, she has evolved into one of South Africa's most dynamic all-rounders. De Klerk's breakthrough was in the 2020 T20 World Cup semi-final against Australia, where she took 3 for 19.
She has since become a regular feature across formats and franchise leagues, including the WPL, WBBL, and The Hundred.

In South Africa's thrilling three-wicket win over Bangladesh in Visakhapatnam, de Klerk once again held her nerve. Chasing 233, South Africa had slipped to 78 for 5 before Marizanne Kapp and Chloe Tryon rebuilt the innings.
When both got out late, de Klerk finished the job. She stayed unbeaten on 37 off 29 balls, sealing the win with a four and a six in the final over.
Earlier in the tournament, she had also steered South Africa home in another close three-wicket win in the chase against India.
