It is widely known that the star duo of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have set their eyes on the World Cup 2027, having missed out on the trophy in a near-perfect 2023 campaign.
After their T20I retirements following the T20 World Cup triumph and Test retirement ahead of the recent England tour, they are currently only available for the ODI format.
With the focus currently on the T20 World Cup 2026, the ODIs are hard to come by, resulting in considerably low match time for both India stars.
