BCCI have announced India's 15-man squad for their upcoming ODI series against South Africa, which starts later this month following the conclusion of the Test series.
India will be without the services of captain Shubman Gill, as the right-handed batter sustained a neck injury on Day 2 of the opening Test at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
With Gill unavailable, the team's leadership has named KL Rahul as the interim captain, and the wicket-keeper batsman will captain the squad for the ODI series.
Shreyas Iyer, Gill's second-in-command, is also sidelined due to an injury sustained in the third ODI versus Australia in the preceding month.
