In ICC's recently released rankings, India's prolific opening batter Rohit Sharma has become the No.1 ODI batter in the World. Rohit achieved the feat at 38 years, making him the oldest Indian to do so.

Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma lead the list as the youngest and the oldest Indians to ICC No.1 Batting Rankings
India's legend and arguably the greatest ever batter to have graced the sport, Sachin Tendulkar, holds the record for being India's youngest Test and ODI batters to reach the No.1 spot in the ICC Rankings.
Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, after a fantastic ODI series against Australia, where he scored 202 runs in 3 innings, climbed to No.1 in ODIs, making him the oldest Indian to do so.

The Mumbai batter achieved the feat for the first time in his career since his debut way back in 2007.

India's young opening sensation Abhishek Sharma recently became the youngest India to achieve the milestone in the T20I format. He reached the position at the age of 24.
