Where is the 2nd ODI being played and what time does it begin?

The second ODI between India and New Zealand will be played at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, India.

It will kick off at 1:30 p.m. IST on Wednesday, January 14, in India.

India will look to clinch the series when they face New Zealand in the 2nd ODI, carrying confidence from a strong showing in the opener.

With the top order settling in well and the middle order contributing at key moments, the hosts will aim for a more clinical performance, especially with the ball in the middle overs.

However, Washington Sundar is ruled out of the rest of the ODI series with a rib injury sustained in the first ODI. Ayush Badoni has been called up to the squad as his replacement.

Rishabh Pant is also out for the series due to injury, with Dhruv Jurel taking his place in the squad. Additionally, Shreyas Iyer is fit and available, adding experience to India’s middle order.

New Zealand are using a relatively fresh, rotation-heavy ODI squad for this tour, with some senior players rested or unavailable, and Michael Bracewell leading the side.
