Cricket fans in Australia are gearing up for an exciting white-ball series in October and November as the giants of the game, India and Australia, are all set to lock horns.
India travelled down under last November and played an exciting five-match Test series, which the hosts won 3-1 to reclaim the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after 10 years.
Now the white-ball teams are all set to visit Australia and will compete in three One-Day Internationals and five T20 International matches.

India announced their ODI and T20I squads last weekend, where Shubman Gill was appointed as India's new ODI coach. Gill, who had earlier replaced Rohit Sharma as Test captain in the summer, has now taken the veteran's leadership role in the 50-over format.

MCG sold out three weeks before 2nd T20 match between India and Australia
The excitement is building among the fans of India and Australia and the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground has reportedly confirmed that all the matchday tickets are sold out, three weeks before the T20I game between the two sides.
India and Australia will lock horns in the T20I match of the series on October 31 at MCG, however, the tickets have already disappeared, showing the euphoria among the local fans.
The madness is building in Melbourne despite the absence of the stalwarts, Virat Kohli and Sharma, who announced their retirements moments after India won the T20 World Cup in Barbados in 2024.

Cricket Australia has claimed that they have already sold 175,000 tickets for the eight white-ball games. The public tickets in Sydney and the Manuka Oval are over, while some tickets for the Adelaide and the Gabba fixtures are still up for sale.
MCG will now release the members' tickets, which will further boost the attendance at the venue during the India vs Australia match.
