Australia cruised to a seven-wicket win in the match to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Their pacers, led by Hazlewood and Starc, dismissed India's top order early, and despite brief fightback from Axar Patel and KL Rahul, India could only post 136 in 26 overs before Australia chased it down comfortably.

04:40 pm: Australia take a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series with a dominant win in Perth. India will look to bounce back in the next game after a forgettable outing with both bat and ball. AUS win by 7 wickets (DLS)

04:25 pm: Australia cruising through the run-chase with Marsh (42*) and Renshaw (12*) after a wicket each for Sundar and Axar. Aus 116/3 (18.3).

03:30 pm: Australia 38/1 after the first 6 overs. Marsh is leading the hosts from the front with 22*. Arshdeep dismissed Head early for 8(5).

02:46 pm: Fireworks from KL Rahul (39) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (19* off 11) guide India to 136/9 at the end of 26 overs. Kuhnemann picks 2/26 in a crucial spell.

10:15 AM: Rain stops play in Perth! India are off to a horrible start after being put in to bat by Australia on a lively Perth surface. The top order crumbled under disciplined bowling from Hazlewood and Starc.

Rohit Sharma was undone by Hazlewood’s hard length. Virat Kohli followed soon after and went for a duck! Shubman Gill looked fluent with a couple of crisp boundaries but was unfortunate to be strangled down the leg side. India 37-3 after 11.5 overs.
