In T20 cricket, very few players manage to shine with both bat and ball. Scoring runs regularly is tough, and at the same time taking 100 wickets in the shortest format is equally rare.
That is why the list of men’s cricketers who have crossed 2000 runs and 100 wickets in T20 internationals is extremely short.

Recently, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi added his name to this elite club, making it a special moment in the game.
Which players have 2000+ runs and 100 wickets in T20 internationals?
At the moment, only two players have managed to achieve this rare double.
The first one was Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. He has been a consistent performer in T20Is for over a decade and currently has more than 2,500 runs along with 149 wickets. His record makes him one of the greatest T20 all-rounders of all time.
The second player to join this list is Afghanistan’s experienced campaigner Nabi.
In the T20I tri-series match against Pakistan at Sharjah, Nabi took his 100th wicket, which gave him entry into this exclusive club.

Alongside his wickets, Nabi has scored over 2,200 runs for Afghanistan in the shortest format, making him the top run-scorer for his country in T20Is.
How big is Mohammad Nabi’s achievement compared to other Afghan bowlers?
Nabi’s achievement is not only about reaching the all-rounder double, but also about being only the second Afghanistan bowler to get 100 wickets in T20 internationals.
The only Afghan bowler ahead of him is Rashid Khan, who is the leading wicket-taker in the format overall.
Nabi achieved his 100 wickets in 135 matches, with an impressive average under 30 and three four-wicket hauls in his name.
