What did Cameron Green say?
Cameron Green recently revealed that Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah reached out to him the night before he was supposed to undergo the surgery. The pacer himself was in a similar kind of situation 18 months back but wasted no time in standing by one of his rivals in his tough time.
Apparently, Bumrah reached out to Green in the middle of the home Test series against New Zealand. The Australian all-rounder mentioned that a message from the Indian speedster acted as an ultimate form of reassurance.
Speaking to Cricbuzz, Green said, "That is really special. And makes you feel a lot better about it. I didn't play with him in Mumbai, but that was the connection through there. Spent a bit of time with him there."

"To get someone like him to reach out and then to watch him during the summer, to see how good he is obviously post-surgery, filled me with a lot of confidence."
Green played for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) but was unable to share the dressing room with Bumrah, as the pacer was ruled out for the season due to injury.
Bumrah has had his fair share of injury problems, as he suffered another back spasm in the final Test of the BGT, which kept him out of the recently concluded Champions Trophy and some matches of the IPL 2025.
