The 2025 edition of the iconic Hong Kong Super Sixes is all set to commence this week, as some of the legendary cricketers from across the world will be seen in action in a unique format of cricket.
Hong Kong Super Sixes is a unique six-a-side International cricket tournament hosted by Cricket Hong Kong, China. The tournament is sanctioned by the ICC and includes a total of 8 to 12 teams.

The tournament is designed for television viewing and entertainment, and is played across small venues, which promotes high-scoring games.

What is the format of the Hong Kong Super Sixes?
The Hong Kong Super Sixes is a six-a-side cricket tournament that consists of matches of six overs per side. Each player, except the wicket-keeper, has to bowl one over, while a batter retires after scoring 31. A wide or a no-ball consists of two runs.
The tournament will feature a total of 12 teams divided into 4 groups of 3 teams each. After the round-robin format, the top two teams from each group compete in the Cup Finals round, while the third-placed teams participate in the Bowl League finals.
- Cup Finals: The top two teams from each group feature in the quarter-finals of the Cup Finals, with the winning team advancing to the semis, while the losing team moves to the plate Finals.
- Plate Finals: The losing teams of the four semifinals play in the Plate semifinals, and the winners of the semis advance to the Finals.
- Bowl Finals: All four third-placed teams will compete in the Bowl League in a round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the Bowl Finals.
